Refreshing employees' faces on websites, setting a style for a new installation of framed portraits, and Yukoners just needing a portrait for their own promotional use, it's been full-on this month.
Connecting to the soul is at the heart of what I do in my northern style portraits. These are some of my latest. I'm constantly amazed by the ability of a single portrait to capture the essence of a person through their eyes. Don't overlook the importance of a powerful portrait for you or your staff.

Wednesday's can't come soon enough in our house, a Wednesday's can't come soon enough in our house, as that's when our ColdAcre Food Systems, Winter Harvest fresh greens order arrives! It's March and we still have about 2 feet of snow on the ground but having these Sea-can housed, hydroponically grown veggies, makes for salads that actually taste like summer!
If you haven't tried these lettace, greens, or micro greens at home, you might have already had them at Bullet Hole Bagels, Woodcutter's Blanket or Burnt Toast Cafe.
From seeding, to growing, to packaging, I got to photograph it all yesterday - and I met the awesome people who make it all happen.
Thanks ColdAcre Food Systems for letting me see the back end of the operation after totally enjoying the front end!

SWEEP!!! - Last year this time, I held my breath h SWEEP!!! - Last year this time, I held my breath hoping the clouds would clear so I could throw up a drone and capture the curling action! I woke to clear skies, for the Atlin Lake Bonspiel.
So excited to see this image go double spread in the latest issue of North of Ordinary Magazine!
Could you curl in a more beautiful location? Not likely!
Next weekend, it's happening again!
Check in with the organizers if you want to get a team in!
