When Yukon North of Ordinary magazine called me, looking for a fall feature on hunting with a quick turn-around, I was ready. Every year on my annual hunt I pack my camera gear, knowing that hunt photos are in demand. I selected photos that would tell the story of the hunt – flying into a lake where we set up our camp, looking for a moose, dinner over a campfire, field dressing, cleaning and hanging the meat. It’s a photo essay of my favourite time of year. And I even have less commonly found photo stock – women hunting.
