Generally, I’ve found March each year is the biggest month for stock photography sales. But this year, it started earlier with sales starting in January and carrying on through February! So what is Yukon Stock Photography? They are images that everyone from magazines to government and commercial clients purchase usage of, for their upcoming projects or articles. Sometimes it’s cheaper to purchase usage than it is to send a photographer out to get the image, or other times, it’s a project being developed when there is still months of snow on the ground but the project wants to reflect a greener season! I’ve been shooting and selling stock photography, of the Yukon, its people, and industries, for years, and I am continually adding to my Yukon stock collection.
